How do i get rid of popup ads on google chrome?
I've reset my browser settings, I've added poper blocker in extensions, I've deleted/disabled extensions and nothing works! I have ads that pop up left and right of my screen. Some cover half of the screen, and others are hidden in links that look like they lead to somewhere you want to go, but when you click on it, it adds 2 more! What else can I do besides getting my computer looked at by a professional?

Try AdBlock https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detai...idom?hl=en

If AdBlock does not block it automatically, then just right click on it, select AdBlock and select "Block this ad".

Pop ups come from Javascript. Turn off Javascript and white list the websites that you want to allow to run Javascript. Make sure that websites actually need Javascript on to run the way *you* want them to run. This is highly recommended by the NoScript people. Chrome natively allows support for Javascript whitelisting.

1. Open the Menu. Go to Settings.
2. Show Advanced Options.
3. Click Privacy > Content Settings.
4. Check JavaScript > Do not allow any site to run JavaScript.
5. Click Manage Exceptions. Here you can manually enter all exceptions.

Otherwise, follow steps 1-4, and you can add exceptions by clicking on the crossed out screenplay pages that appear in the right of the address bar when you go to a blocked website. Click it and decide whether to Always allow JavaScript on [this website] or Continue blocking JavaScript and click Done.

AdBlock is also highly recommended.

Using "Adblock Plus" is the best option. Please install it from the link given by @Shourabh.
