He commented on my fb status about losing his phone then finding it why didnt he just reply to my text?

So I was texting this guy i like I think he might like me, n he didn't reply for about an hour, I was out bowling, when I got home I wrote on fb...Not tried at all..just bored now so watching 28 days later n eating m&msx he wrote a comment saying... I left my phone at james(his mate) house by accident. I'm not ingroing your text monkianx
Then a second later wrote oh no I didn't I found itx
But didn't reply to my text why did he write this on my status? N why didnt he just text me when he found it?
He says I'm lucky to as many trxts as I do from him as he don't text much. His 31 I'm 23

Well if he left his phone how did he get on fb? And if he got on fb on a computer why couldn't he have just wrote you in your inbox explaining that he left it instead of on your status? Be careful with him. Don't fall for him just yet. And with him saying your lucky that he texts you as much because he doesn't text is something boys(men) say to make you feel good and get comfortable with him.
