What happened to my Google Chrome and how do I fix it?

What happened to my Google Chrome and how do I fix it?
When I clicked on my Google Chrome icon a pop up comes up stating "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000022.) Click OK to close the application." How do I fix this problem? I tried downloading Chrome again but the same thing keeps happening. Any suggestions?

Uninstall chrome totally out from PC.. delete all its files from installation directory and try re-installing

Use Ccleaner software and just make your entire browser setting to default and then check out your issue.
