What do you think about our country's (Turkey) Twitter blocking?

Hey all,
I want to know what you think about this situation.If it was your country,what would you do?

I don't use Twitter, so it wouldn't affect me at all. I could still communicate with friends and family via phone, email or text message. Twitter didn't even exist until a few years ago and people got along fine without it. I don't know why Turkey has chosen to block it -- security concerns perhaps?

All social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook etc are to be tampered with in Turkey for the foreseeable future.
