How does overnight shipping work?
Say I ordered something on Tuesday at 7:30pm. When would my package arrive?

It arrives the 'next business day,' not the 'next real day.' It's safe to assume that a business day ends at 5PM, so your package will arrive on Thursday at the earliest.

If you absolutely must have this 'next real day' then try calling up the shipper. At my last job I once needed an emergency overnight delivery after the last shipment had left. They charged us hundreds of dollars (I bet this one part got its own private plane), but they did it.
