If you block someone from fb do they know you block them?

I blocked my ex boyfriend on fb because I don't want to have anything to do with him but would he know I blocked him?

If he does a search for you and does not find you, he might ask questions about that.
But Facebook does not notify the receiver if they have been rejected by a friend request, or if they have been blocked.
If he checks your profile reguarly, of course he'll notice that first of all, you're not his friend, and second of all, that he can't find you.
Tell him that you're deciding to go off Facebook.
Then when he can't find you he'll beleive it.

another solution try to make another secret profile and quitely move ur friendlist their i did same thing with my ex - she things that i dont use fb .. but i do ..
