i believe this is what you are looking for to advertise something on facebook. This is the only vaild way to do it. Just go to the facebook advertising section: http://www.facebook.com/advertising/

Do you have an account in the name of the company on Facebook? It is always better to bring your company forward from social networking sites like facebook. Create an account and start adding people and related organizations.
