How do you change your avatar? I don't see the section that used to be here a while ago..?

Yahoo closed down and eliminated the Yahoo avatar making pages on April 1, 2012. You can't change your avatar from your YA activity profile now. You have to go to your Yahoo profile. You can access your Yahoo profile by hovering the cursor over your user name in the upper right to the left of the envelope icon for Mail, then click Profile from the drop down menu. There is also a "profile" hyperlink in Your YA activity profile which you can access by clicking Answers Home in the Upper left corner. You may hove to verify your Yahoo and set up your Yahoo profile first Hover the cursor over the avatar until a "Change Photo " button pops up. Click "change photo" and 3 or four options should pop up, an upload icon, a Facebook icon, and forget what the other ones are right now. IF you are going to upload an image, the image file has to be on your hard drive or SIM card and be in either a .jpg or .png image file format. Yahoo's really glitchy and sporadic about >GIF format images. When you click the upload arrow, you should get the folder and file directory of your device popping. Click the "pictures" folder to open Open any folders you may have, select the image file you want to use as your avatar, then click the "Open' at the bottom to upload your avatar. That is how it works on my desktop PC. It might work differently for your device.
