I want to ask this guy out, but I’m nervous. Any suggestions/advice?
I am talking to this guy {as a client}. We never met personally {yet} although his office is a neighborhood or two from where I live. We have talked on the phone {business related material} for about 3 weeks now and I always thought he had a really nice voice. I decided to Facebook him and see what he looked like and found that he is pretty cute, but left it alone. 2 days ago, I went to a dating website that I still have a profile to just to read some of the messages I got {because I am back on the single market} and saw that back in November, 2013, HE actually wrote me a hello message; what are the odds?! I never responded to him because, well, I had no interest in the website and was involved at the time. Me and the guy {that I am a current customer/client of} are supposed to meet this Saturday at his office to go over paper work to finalize a major purchase. I want to bring up the dating profile subject SO BAD but not sure if that’s a good idea. I’m kind of nervous because Saturday will probably be the last time I see or hear from him after everything is finalized; meaning there would really be no need for me to call him anymore. So I feel I only have 1 shot at his. I never asked a guy out before and I know he is not going to ask me out because he is professional. Everyone says “just do it” but it’s always easier than it sounds. Any suggestions on how I can go about this without being awkward? Help!

Make sure you get the major purchase finalised on Saturday before you bring any of this up.

After that, you two have the rest of Saturday night to get to know one another, go for a few drinks, and laugh about what a small world it is, and all that stuff about destiny..

I think it will be the perfect start to a relationship.

Finalize the deal first, get paid. Then ask him if he wants to go out celebrate, maybe a happy hour drink ? That way you can always make it seem like a business, thing.

Jeremy and Crystal are right. First and foremost handle business. Then casually ask if he would like to get some drinks and if you want even bring up the site and how ironic it is. You got this girl!
