Why is such a video on youtube?
The Last time I put up a question whether Islam is a bad religion. I was criticized for the question. I apologize for that. It was not my intention to hurt the sentiments of muslim people but the reason I asked the question was that there is indeed a video on youtube named- "Islam the worst religion on earth". Why is such a video up on youtube? Not only this video but there are plenty of videos that criticise the religion.. And also articles are there that condemn the religion and its ways..... I do not want to paste URL and start controversies but I just want to ask.. Why is this so? Also I had said about countries such as Iraq, saudi arabia feared and all.. It was on the basis of many articles published about them.... I am sorry again .. I don't mean to offend anyone but y is the social media and internet againt Islam religion? Because people say its a peaceful religion.... I hope this one does not offend anyone..

For the same reasons ppl from other faiths are free to post their hate-filled rants

It's called freedom of expression

Because the jihad, the very militant Muslims are violent. No, not all Muslims are violent. However the jihad really believe they were justified by Allah himself in the 9-11 attacks because they were able to pull it off, and they really believe 72 virgins were waiting for them. The very fact that they were able to pull it off against all odds made them that much more fanatical and enabled them to recruit many more for their cause.

And what about the Quran, websites, videos and groups that preach hate towards other religions that use bombs to get their message across instead of social media?

There are christians and muslims who know the truths but believe that by trying to bury or censor what is true they can transform the public's perception of the truth.

All you can do is oppose them with FACTS. I prefer to use other Christians or Muslims to prove people in Yahoo Answers are lying. When someone has the nerve to post anything about Islam being a religion of peace I post signs they hold up about killing and conquering. When they deny being cruel to women I post pictures of women who have had their noses cut off. They cannot argue against such evidence.

Here is a suggestion: 1) ensure that you know what is right relative to God; and 2) don't worry about "offending" religions by asking them to defend their beliefs and criticism directed towards them.

As to the first premise, with all of the religions that are out there, what is right? Jesus made it very plain that the decision was a black and white decision: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). He did not say that He was one of the many ways, He said that He was the only way. And, further, He described the issue of not believing in Him: "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son" (John 3:18). We can conclude that Jesus is saying, effectively, "my way, or eternal punishment". Now, lest we develop an acute state of "high horse" about what seems to be very narrow criteria relative to salvation and forgiveness, He did suffer and die on the cross and was resurrected three days later to give us victory over the sins that condemn us. This kind of love and provision for forgiveness is found no where in the universe of the other and false religions.

As to the second premise, your sensitivity to the muslim reactions to your first inquiry is telling. Islam has survived, not because it has an appropriate solution for sin and a provision for forgiveness, but that it propagates itself by intimidation and violence and coercion. The message of the Koran is the antithesis of the message of Jesus. It denies that Jesus is the Son of God. It denies that Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected. It tells you that through works and following Islam you might be in paradise. The Bible is very clear that salvation is through faith and the grace of God and works has nothing to do with it (Ephesians 23:8,9).

My suggestion: keep asking the Muslims to justify their faith. They will fall short and fail because the foundation is false.

There are multiple possible reasons. Maybe to anger other people, or maybe to express their opinion. I wouldn't worry about it too much. And don't be sorry for asking an innocent, serious question. Though I wouldn't ask a serious question on youtube. There are too many people who wish to get a violent reaction out of other people. Just ask your questions in a more serious place.

I am Roman Catholic, and, personally, I do not think Islam is "bad." I think they are WRONG, but i do not think that they are BAD. Not everyone who believes in that religion are terrorists. I believe it is only the radical muslims that believe killing people will gain greater glory in the afterlife. (I could be wrong, as i do not know much about the subject. But I know they are not all out to kill people).
