What does it mean when your ex wants his belongings back and acts like this on Facebook?
We been together for 4 months and after the breakup we haven't spoken in six weeks. We ended on a bad note. I practically end our relationship because I wasn't happy anymore and the way he treated me was horrible. He was also emotionally unstable and would self harm himself alot. I'm already dating someone else who makes me very happy. I just want to move on.Just thirty minutes ago he knocked on my door and my mom answered it. I was home but I didn't want to speak with him. My mom told me he wants his LOTR novel and Vans hoodie back.I'm 19 and he's 20. HELP. Should I message him on Facebook even though we aren't friends and ask when to hand his stuff back. My mom doesn't want him here anymore. I honestly don't want to see him. Why did he wait so long to ask for his belonging back? IS THIS AN EXCUSE TO SEE ME OR IS HE MOVING ON?

Facebook convo few mins ago:

Me: My mom told me you stopped by earlier. I will drop off your items sometime tomorrow.

HIM : It's fine don't put yourself through the trouble. I'll come by some other time.

ME: No. Its okay.I actually want to drop it off at your place. I will stop by tomorrow around noon. Night.

HIM: I'm pretty busy tomorrow so that won't work.

ME: Thats fine. I will leave it on your doorstep. Just letting you know in advance.

HIM: Wtf...

Okay

Do whatever you want.

Yep. Seems like he wanted to see you. But sometimes maybe a dude just needs closure. A guy may be heartless and mean but he still has feelings. You may have moved on but he probably hasn't. Even though he treated you some kind of way...should you do the same? Just hear him out...perhaps? Let him have his closure so you may both move on.

Wow omg what a dick. Gurl just move on bc I've been in that and it isn't pretty. Just drop off his stuff and forget about it. Anyways, you said you are happy with someone else right? So why look back to the past instead of the future?
