It was. I saw it in several places yesterday. But I'm still left wondering if there isn't more to the story. I mean was he being harrassed and felt maybe this would bring some attention to his problems? We simply don't know all of the facts I'm afraid.

edit: Yesterday I posted the Yahoo story about his recanting onto a FaceBook group I belong to.

I don't know the story but did review your link and based on your question assume this was proved to have not happened.
And your point???

Lots of people make false claims, why would you think transgender people are any less likely to tell a tall one. That is the message of equality, we are the same, good and bad.

Get over it. . . . . . . . . . . .

Paul Harvey and the Rest of the Story, would be helpful.

Schools routinely sweep bullying and harassment under the carpet, because they don't want to get involved (witness first hand).

I suspect there is more to the story, that lead him to make a false report. (such as it was the only way to fight back because, the school wasn't helping with a known issue, just a guess and does not make it right)

"marking the second time a transgender student reported being the target of violence at the campus."

Twice in a coupe mouths, the first one the girl was being harassed/bullied and lashed out (not calling it correct) but a normal reaction, I bet the kids harassing her got off scot free or close to it.. It's funny how schools have cameras and they catch teachers being assaulted, but they are never used to confirm/deny student on student bullying.

This not a trans issue, it is the same old issue of school bullies and how the school handles such incidents.
