DONT. Download another web browser for god's shakes. Explorer is SLOW as a turtle running under load. The more slow your pc is, the quadriple slower it will be if you use IE.

It doesn't matter whether you're a silver surfer or not. But welcome along anyway.

In order to answer this accurately it's helpful to know the answers to these questions...

Approximately how old is your PC?
What make/model is it?
What version of Windows does it run?
What other applications have you opened and not shut down since you last started the PC?
How much memory ("RAM") does the PC have? (Typically 1, 2, 4, or possibly 8 GB.)
What anti virus software do you have and is it up-to-date?

I'm wondering whether there's either too much trying to happen on your PC.
