Is there something wrong with my phone?

I own a samsung ace and lately my phone hasnt been able to play videos from youtube and instragram. I have both the apps on my phone. The problem just started somewhere last week. Ive had my phone for almost a year now and for some reason i cant watch videos on youtube. I have to switch off the high quality button to be able to watch the videos and if i dont the video wont play is gets stuck and only sounds will play perfectly. The same thing happens to instagram videos and even if i dont use the app and watch vids on the internet with my phone. The same thing happens again. Has this happend to you too?
