Why does nearly all of the people on twitter follow me just for the sake of it?
Nearly all of the people on twitter follow me just for the sake of following me instead of following me for a reason. Why?

Many of them are just hoping you will follow them back because they thing twitter followers are a measure of Whuffie Points and or have something to promote.

I get many people who follow me are indie authors because most of the people I follow are podcasters including podiobooks authors.
