PS3 Internet Connection Problems!!!?
i try to connect my PS3 with my wireless router (belkin) and everytime i put in IP Address etc, it says:
IP Address: Succeeded Internet Connection: Failed This is a DNS Error (80710102) This didn't happen before as i kept it on easy and it automatically got to the connection test after putting in my router and WEP key. Now it says i have to do automatic, manually or PPOeP (or something like that), but none of those are working for me. This has been going on for the last 3 days. PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ help me!!!!! Ads |

go into your router manager, and work out what IP address your PS3 is using, you will also need the other addresses to set your connection up manually. make sure PS3 WEP key is same as router password. When in manual set up
Internet connection settings: Custom Wireless WLAN settings = enter manually (choose your wirless connection) WLAN security = WEP (enter correct WEP key as indicated in PC's router manager) IP address settings = manual (IP address as indicated by your PC router manager, this may take you a while to work out. Set IP address, Subnet mask. Also the default and primary DNS which are the same and no need to set secondary DNS. This will give you a static address giving you better connection. Good luck :-) MTU = automatic Proxy server = do not use UPnP = enable press x and good luck. If cant work out the IP addresses etc then look on your PC for them, also you could get an idea what they are by doing automatic PS3 connection and then going back into PS3 internet settings to see info on them and work from there. Dont give up you nearly there. |
