First of all, SEO softwares are not the one to promote sites. And then in my knowledge there is no software for SEO. Search Engine Optimization(SEO) is a technique through which your website will be quite recognized by Search Engines. I will refer you some tools through which you can optimize your sites :-

and then some websites that will teach you how to optimize your websites for search engine :-

SEO software that will magically promote your website all by itself doesn't exist. Smile
First off you need a plan for how you're going to improve your site's positions in search engines (Bing, Yahoo, Google or any other ones you may be targeting).
Then, depending on your strategy, you need to choose your software.

*As a rule, you would need an app that can detect crawlability problems on the site and identify duplicate content.
For these purposes, you can use w3c validator, for example.

*Then, it's also good to have an SEO tool that can tell you what backlinks your competitors have.
This will give you an idea of how many and what quality backlinks you need to rank higher than them.
Besides, it may help you find good websites, directories, blogs, etc. to get backlinks from.
I use SEO Spyglass for these purposes, but there quite a few other backlink checkers in the market.

*Then, depending on how many keywords you're optimizing for, you may also need a keyword tracker. It's a software tool that tracks search engine rankings of your website for the keywords you provide.
But if you only have a couple of keywords, you can simply check where you rank by hand.

Hope this helps.

There are a whole bunch of different SEO software programs you can use. Some of my favorites include:

* Google Keyword Tool for finding keywords
* Ubersuggest
* Ahrefs.com to track your link building efforts
* Traffic Travis
* Internet Business Promoter

There's a whole bunch of different options out there... just make sure you check out reviews first!
