how do I retrieve my favorites from ie 7?

My computer changed to ie 11 from ie 7 and I lost all my favorite sites . how do I get them back

Not sure if this will help to retrieve your IE7 favorites or not, but it was all I could think of to try. First I'll give you this link that explains how to save your IE favorites. Now the problem is, getting back to IE7 that had all your settings and included your Favorites list. The only thing I can think of trying would be to do a System Restore, choosing a Restore Point that would have occurred on the System Restore Calendar prior to you changing to IE 11. The System Restore Calendar will allow you to go back a maximum of 30 calendar days, so hopefully this change to IE 11 has occurred recently. The System Restore should return your computer to the way it was on the date you choose, so the latest possible date prior to the IE change will hopefully bring you back to IE 7 as it was before the update. Just remember that IE is a Windows program and will update again automatically with other Windows updates, so make sure you set Windows Updates so you can manually choose when to update so you don't lose IE 7 until you have your list of Favorites ready to transfer to IE 11.
