goted meme but what struck me as odd was that the guy who posted it had his profile thumbnail as a crying kid. I clicked on it and looked at his most recent pic (he had a lot of info public) and realized the kid was his but I saw so many comments ridiculing the kid for crying and he said it made him laugh. What the fuck? Maybe this is over the top but I am thinking this guy is abusing his kid. He is in another state according to his profile pic. What can I do to report this information without the risk of potential legal recourse from his side? Is this a bit too overboard? Could this worsen the situation?
Rarity, I had worried that but what isn't considered child abuse? Is he doing more behind that pic?

Absolutely, report what you saw. You can always report child abuse anonymously. There is absolutely no recourse from anyone for reporting potential child abuse. Absolutely report it asap

Well you can report but I seriously don't think that directly means that he's abusing his kid. For that, I'm not sure if you might just be making a bad judgement call.

I doubt very much someone would make it public knowledge that he or she is abusing their child , what made you realise that the child in question is his ? did he state specifically that he is the dad ? a picture of a crying child don't mean anything ,kids cry for a multitude of reasons ,if you said the child was crying and had marks on his or her face like red marks or bruising say a black eye then i would think maybe they are abusive ,is this the only picture of the child he has ?but until you have evidence i would keep quiet you might totally destroy these peoples lives with your assumptions ,why don't you check his facebook once a day? i'm sure it will become evident before long ,besides why hasn't anyone else reported him ? and as for the people who are ridiculing the child in question should grow the fuck up

Phone the police and report this guy. The police have special teams who deal with Internet crime, especially of the sexual abusive kind.
By law they must investigate no matter where in the world he lives.
Contact your local child protection group and report him.
Report him to Facebook.

I highly suggest you seek this guy out as he has a long history of handling stuff like this and just moved to a new website. Just ask him and he will put you on the right path.
