can you trick your phone into "thinking" that a ps3 is a mobile device?

So my problem is that I want to tether my phone's internet connection with my ps3 only problem is that the company blocks it but when I connect from a phone it works flawlessly so can I do this? I tried changing the ip address and nothing can I change anything else? There was other options in the ps3 like proxy server and all that but im not an expert thanks in advance

use a different tethering app.... Go to playstore and search TETHER... keep downloading and installing until 1 works for you.

I use Foxfi... no issues here.
