Why is Instagram different on Android compared to iPhones?
My iPod I can rotate pics, add effects, etc. On my Android phone, All I can do is "crop". Do I need an add-on? or is the software just more friendly with Apple devices?

If there are features missing, it's on the developers. When an app is ported from one platform to another, it's fairly common for some features to be left out. Quite often this is due to difficulty in implementing these features in the other platform or lack of time before release. As far as add-ons go, to the best of my knowledge add-ons are not a common feature. Most mobile apps are published as a package and as-is.
The best advice I could give would be to wait for an update that provides these options and voice your opinion to Instagram if you are not satisfied with their Android implementation. Ads |
