How can I set up my win machine to use LAN for a local network and WIFI for internet access at the same time?
I would like to use my LAN to connect to some machines via IP address.
I would like to have internet access via WIFI also at the same time. Windows seems to want to close my LAN connection if I have the WIFI turned on. Is there a way to change the configuration so I can do both? Ads |

You would need two network adapters for this.

If your wifi and your wired computers connect to the same router you are connected to the same LAN! In windows all you need to do to share with those is to set them all to the same workgroup, enable sharing, and open the firewall for the local network!
Microsoft has guides step by step for all windows operating systems. The router handles the "routes" both local and the internet! |
