What would you if you were in a similar situation?
So I visit this one social media site pretty much everyday to talk to friends of mine. I have friends all over the world there. I've been around the globe so I know most of them in person. However my mother has been getting very frustrated at me for getting in this social media site. And today when I tried to get on I discovered I was blocked from the site. This normally wouldn't bug me if I had some other way of contacting them but I don't. I'm doing my best not to freak out because I'm worried for some of my friends. And I can't talk to them right now because of the lack of contact information.

Maybe she wants you go out and make some friends instead of spending all your time on the inet. Seriously, get out and meet people.

Mom's house, Mom's rules. You don't have to like them, but you do have to accept them (or move out)

I'm just going to say right now that she only said she visited this social media site everyday, not that she was on it all day. Another thing that strikes a chord with me here is she travels around the globe, because she did say she had friends all over the globe and she knew them in person. Her profile thing says she likes to travel. I seriously doubt she sits around a computer all day. And I'm pretty sure she has one heck of a life.

And to answer your question I'd go to a friends house that has wi-fi and ask if I could get on over there and explain to everyone what's going on. Then get off the laptop or computer or whatever and spend time with the friend of course.
