I didnt realize it but the two computers in my house are networked i thought they could use the same internet without being networked but sharing is not turned on.i got a virus on one computer and the zone alarm security caught it and removed it i did a scan on the computer which has mcafee and it said everything was fine should i worry or is everything ok and can virus get on both computers if the only thing they share is a internet connection through a wifi router

The conditions have to be set right in order for a virus to propagate on a network. Out-of-the-box systems are generally not setup to allow free network access with some sort of exploit.

If you're not seeing any problem on the other computer you should be fine.
