How do I know if someone read my twitter message?

So I know twitter sometimes has its glitches but I am not sure if this is one of them, my crush and I always dm eachother and I was the last one to respond and he hasnt replied for a week and he has been tweeting and stuff so is it possible he never recieved it? Or if he did how can I know he read it? Or is that not possible.

i dont think we are able to know if someone read the message. Maybe he did read it maybe not!
