Laptops Not Working Properly?
So hey
I booted my laptop a while ago due to it saying ' Crash Dump ' I cant remember if i booted it in safe mode or not. I don't think i did though :L Anyways, after it was finished it started up. But when it comes onto desktop, the internet connection has a red 'X' on the sign. Whenever i try to click on the symbol to add my connection it says 'no connections available.'
Another problem is that when i try to play any game it says
' Hardware acceleration is either disabled or not supported by your video card driver, which could slow game performance. Make sure you have the latest video card driver installed and that hardware acceleration is turned on.'

I haven't touch anything on my laptop for a while now, but im starting to need this laptop to work again for school. Im using an old laptop now that doesn't have that much space. Anyway before i booted it it was working fine and it had working internet connection and it played games.
When i go into control mode to sort something out i can't fix things because it says i need internet connection to get help :L

How can i fix this internet thing and how can i get games to work ?
Is there anyway i can reboot it again for it to work?

Thanks in advance
Also when i try to play games like sims 3 for example it says ' Failed to enumerate any DirectX 9 compatible graphics adapters in this system!, Please make sure you have DirectX 9 compatible graphics adapter and have installed the lastest manufacturer provided driver. This application will now terminate...'
I haven't touched anything on my computer and before i booted it theses games were working perfectly fine.

It sounds like you don't have the proper drivers installed. You need to figure out what type of graphics hardware you have and download and install the appropriate drivers. You'll also need to install the appropriate network adapter drivers to get your internet working.
