Why is my tweets on twitter not appearing on other peoples twitter?

Every time I tweet someone...say I write something and click to send it. It tells me it has been sent. I have noticed when other people tweet their friends it appears on their twitter. Why isn't my tweets not appearing on their twitter. Replying to their tweets appears now?

you may have put in your setting to only have your tweets show in certain people's feeds, check your settings
