You shouldn't need an SEO company to do this for you. Google will let you do this for free. If you go to http://maps.google.com/, usually there's a link on the left that will tell you about putting your business on Google Maps. You will have to have an account with Google, but those are always free as well.

SEO company needed to be judged with their experience and reputation. I always prefer http://www.qualitysubmissions.com for improving local business. Their rates are very affordable.
