Is youtube slower or is it just me?

So I've noticed youtube does not stream hd anymore I have a 6mbps internet connection and youtube has been a POS this year or ever since they added advertisement I've noticed it streams so slow is it just me or is it everyone because it is annoying every other site loads hd videos fine except youtube is there anything I can do about this?

Ok, so this may or may not work, but it worked for me and got rid of pretty much all video lag (only works with chrome). Go to chrome://plugins/ and the find adobe flashplayer (should be the first thing on the page). Youll see that there is two adobe flash player files, both of them will be enabled. Theyre the exact same thing, and you may wonder why there would be two flash players. well, theres ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. you will see the word "disable" twice on the screen, click the first disable button so that the first flash process is disabled (ill attach a vid showing you what to do if this was confusing )
