Any other good search engines which is NOT Google Chrome?

What would you consider a good, fast search engine which is not Google Chrome. Google Chrome has been absolutely rubbish lately, it crashes constantly and is very slow to load. Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks!

Not sure if you are talking about a search engine or a web browser. Google Chrome is a web browser. If you don't like it. Try Opera or Firefox.

Today, 11/03/13. the clocks were set back. I turned on my computer and was interested in something that had a model number and the name of the product so I copied it and trued to paste it into Google

It didn't work for some reason, so I pasted it into Yahoo mail after switching it to plain text.

It still didn't work so I thought maybe it had something to do with the time change so I re-booted..

And it STILL didn't work. --so I googled, "Why doesn't cut and paste work with Google?" and then I found out that you can't use Google anymore unless you have Google chrome.

The dirty B@stards! I set up my computer the way I like it, and I HATE it when I'm forced to change things, just like when Yahoo got rid of Yahoo Classic.
