Would you move to Michigan for a job?
Would you move to Michigan for a job offer? The job is a digital communications manager (social media) and pays a little over 40,000 a year. What if you can't find a similar job offer in your state where you live (Arizona)? Or would you stay where you are and keep your current job (social media manager)?

b4 moving.
visit the state in WINTER.
visit the state dept of tourism
visit the state dept of TAXATION.

visit local for rent sites to see if u need to sell
off your stuff to afford a rental.

that 40,000 may only be worth 20,000 in real world.

IF that is a big IF the job in Michigan can add
experience and lead to some thing better in 3-5 yrs
- maybe.

do your research

Use a cost of living calculator online, there are plenty available. The location of a job and the salary earned could make a big difference. For example, making 60,000 in New York City is about the same as making 45-50,000 in a city such as Pittsburgh.
