My laptop made a strange sound? HELP ASAP?

I Have a google chrome boock acer c7 and ive had it since december, i shut the lid to go down stairs to get a drink. As i lifted a lid it made a strange sound. Like when you are tuning your radio or a static interference. It wasn't coming from the actual internal computer, it was from the speakers and now neither the speakers or the ear phone jack works. Im worried my computer is being hacked or something
