Hi my laptop keeps turning off each time I try to connect to the internet.P.S. just disassembled for cleaning?
Hi I just disassembled my HpDV9700 to clean the fan and applied some thermal paste. But after putting everything together the laptop keeps turning off each time I try to go on the internet. So far I've only tried to play some video on youtube but each time the video starts, the laptop power just cuts off. I'm not very experienced with hardware stuff so can't figure out what the problem is. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like a graphics/video card issue, just a guess due to video being the crash cause. I would ensure you didnt push it out of it's slot or drop some paste on it. If that isnt the case you may have dislodged your CPU. Intel has built in graphics that would kick on when youtube loads, would make sense with the thermal paste application. Make sure it is sitting right.

Cheers and Good Luck

You will need to strip the laptop down again and check that the fan is working and is connected correctly and other connections are still good.

This is the problem of heat sink and Fan .
jusr remove the fan again and push it in right condition , if you found the same trouble , then simply repair your OS, if problem persist then just buy heat sink device .
