Galaxy S III or iPhone 4S?

Galaxy S III or iPhone 4S?
Which one is better for me, Galaxy S III or iPhone 4S?
I'm 14 (if that helps.) Note that I use it for simple games (Subway Surfers, Temple Run, Cut The Rope etc), and I use it for apps like Facebook, Twitter, photo editing apps etc. I also need it for browsing which helps me with studying. So I hope it has good battery life.
Also, which one will get outdated first? I want to use it for at least 2-3 years (if that's possible).
Thank you for your time! Smile

I'm also 14 and have the galaxy s2. For games, the galaxy s3 would be much better because it has better processing power, and galaxy also has much bigger battery and screen, so its a little better on battery life. Android is (in my opinion) the best opperatig systrm , that can do the most things. If you know how to use it. Both galaxy and s3 are still being updated, but iPhone will probably be updated for longer if that's what you mean outdated

go for Galaxy SIII. it is best suited for everyone, big screen , superfast quad core processor, more ram, vivid display, upgradable to android 4.2.
while iphone 4s has so small screen and not meant for discreet gaming.

Honestly, don't listen to Jon about the Galaxy's battery life, because it's terrible. The large screen and the constant multitasking actually takes away from the phone's battery life. Everyone that I know with a Galaxy has a problem with it dying after a couple of hours, even on standby. So Apple wins in that respect.

The Galaxy has a bigger screen, so it wins in the gaming respect. But those games sound like they could fair pretty well, even on a smaller screen like the 4S. So I rule that you could go either way.

However, since you seem to want it for simple purposes, the iPhone is definitely for you. I like to describe the iPhone as being for "To Go" people. If you're not all interested in being "techy" with your device, and you don't care about extreme customization, then don't get the Galaxy. It's a good phone, but it gets pretty buggy sometimes, and it's not worth it if you're not into all of the tech stuff.

(P.S. You can still customize the iPhone a little, but not nearly as much as a Galaxy.)

And, finally, they'll both be pretty outdated in 2-3 years. The Galaxy line tends to get older faster (have you ever heard anyone talking about the original?) while the iPhone holds to its reputation for longer (people are still talking about the 3GS and think it's a pretty good phone). However, since the SIII is newer, they'll both be about the same level in 2-3 years.

Based on all of that, I recommend the iPhone.

go with the galaxy s3 the iphone 4s will become completely outdated soon because apple is constantly coming out with new models i have had both phones and i still say that the s3 was my favorite phone i ever had the s3 because it runs android will have more free games and all your social media runs fine on it i love its screen resolution for youtube and movies. the s3 also has a larger screen which will be better for studying and all kinds of things. the s3 also has good battery life the s3 also has all kinda of features that allow ease of use. but it all comes down to personal opinion mainly because many people prefer IOS and many prefer Android like myself.

Iphone has best apps and best security by far. No virus checker needed like other phones need, and you can install as much as you want without worrying about viruses.

Easy! I would chose the s4 for two simple reasons.

1. You can replace the battery easily. They usually only last 12-18 months.

2. You have the ability to get an extended life battery more than 3x as powerful as the iPhone's battery
