Internet Connection Problem !!! Plz Help!!! SOS !!!?

When i connect to internet through a dial-up network, Network Icon on Taskbar does not show it and says "You are currently not connected to any networks."
Also when i get the status of my internet connection in front of IP4 and IP6 it writes Not Connected.
My OS is win VISTA Business and it doesn't show internet connections, (also Broadband and Wireless Lan

maybe you make a wrong input of cable-or your dial up are not activated.

Yes that is your LAN (Local Area Network) connection
...
It will work if you connect via ethernet cable on routers/modems/other PC

If your modem is good and you are sure that you are connecting on the Internet, then the problem is not cable but rather you are getting some False-Positive messages which could be caused by Virus or some worms....

The Internet Connection in front of IP4 is for your Local Area Network and not for your Internet. So you have to know and understand that. If you do not see the Internet connection then it is possible your modem is not present with drivers or you don't even have modem at all.
