How come my Liked pages on Facebook don't show up on my home page?

I recently realized that none of the pages that I have "liked" on facebook never post things, so I went to a few of the profiles that I've liked and they've all been posting stuff, it just doesn't show up in my news feed. No, I don't like stupid things like "Like this if you've ever gone streaking" or stupid things that aren't worth liking.

That was changed quite a while ago.

They still appear in a few views but to make sure it shows, you have to share or comment on it.
