Do I wear a bra when trying a dress on?
This is a dumb question but I'm gonna go try on prom dresses, and I've seen other girls in my grade and try them on and post pictures in our Facebook group, however it seems like none them are wearing a bra.

When you try on a dress do you wear a bra underneath ?? and on prom day?? I was planning to get a strapless for the actual day.

So what do i wear it when trying it on and tucking the straps away?

Or get the strapless bra before hand and wear it when trying dresses on

It honestly depends on the dress. Most dresses these days have built in bras so you don't have to wear one at all.

When shopping for "THE" dress, my advice is to take a couple of bras with you. A normal (but fancy) bra, a pushup like a balconette bra, and a strapress bra (like a bandeau).

This way when you try the dresses on you have a bra to fit most dress types and you can see exactly how it's going to look with the bra so that when you get to the night you go to wear the dress, you can see how it's going to sit exactly or if it's going to sag at the bust or sides, etc.

Many women buy the dress then get home to find it doesn't sit right with the underwear. If you go braless sometimes the dress can hang at the sides or go loose at the front if you don't fill it out in the right shape. Avoid this by trying different bras and braless to see what works Smile

Tuck straps away when trying on. For actual prom day, get a strapless bra, or any bra that looks good with the dress. Have fun at prom!

I would wear a strapless bra on the day of, or wear those cup thingy's that go over your boobs. You could also use those plastic or whatever straps. I just wore a strapless bra.
