Why has my internet connection stopped working?
I am facing a huge problem with my computer at home - the ethernet cable is working fine and the modem is working well but it still cannot connect to the internet and I have tried Internet Explorer,Moxilla Firefox and Google Chrome. It has been like this for two and a half weeks and I am at my wits end. The internet has been paid. Also I remember back in 2012 thousands of computers lost their internet connection. What has happened? I rang my internet service provider and did what the technician said yesterday.

did you try turning off the router and the modem by unplugging them from the electricity jack, and then after you reboot both devices, reboot the computer... this should reset the shoe network, and allow connection. Now, the other problem could be that the settings in your computer were somehow changed. You can fix this by restoring your computer to an earlier time when everything was working fine. Let's say that on March 15th, or around that date your computer and modem and router were working fine, so restore your computer to that date... hopefully it'll get fixed, good luck!
