Why does our laptop connect to my sister's internet?

It should NEVER do that if it has connected to your local service. Is her service unsecured? If so she is taking a VERY big risk. Local criminals could send illegal eamils from her connection and she would never know until the authorities come round.

You may have your sisters connection at the top of your preferred list. Remove your sisters connection from your preferred list. Also make sure you have your connection to connect automatically.
