is the friend or FB issue?

this facebook friend's profile has been strange as of late (past 2 weeks or so). it says that we are friends, like they show up in the search box and are under my friend list. BUT, when I view their profile it gives me the option of adding them as a friend (on top, by their name).

this makes it seem as if they got somehow deleted and i have to add them again (but they are still under my friend list!). the only thing different now is that i cannot see who their friends are and when they have new ones. also, when this happened i can only see their albums, not pics when others tagged them.

so have i been blocked or put on a limited profile or something...?? or is it a FB issue??

If they blocked you, you wouldnt be able to access anything in their account. Id say its a fb issue. Id try to click on the add button and/or removing them as a friend and then re-adding them.
