will parents be able to see what apps i get on my iphone?

my mom said if im going to get an iphone shes gonna put parent controls on it or something. i dont have the phone yet so idk how that all works. but she doesnt want me going on instagram. the app is free, so if i download it anyways will she know? if the only way she'll find out is through email, then would i be able to change my apple id email?

I think the parent controls is like this password thing where if you want to download an app, you have to enter a password.

Parental controls allows them to block you from doing alot of things on the phone. Nothing you can do about it if thats on. Just be happy they are getting you an iphone.

To be clear,there is nothing like- parental control stuff on iphone.
Simplest way to hide all your stuff is to jailbreak your iphone with 'EVASI0N'.
Google it & download it on your computer & run it with iphone connected to it.
Then again google for such apps that help to hide data & your mom will never ever know if you have ever downloaded anything on your iphone.
but remember-
1. To use safari for browsing go to-SETTINGS>SAFARI>PRIVATE BROWSING & switch it on.
2. Download app hiding app in 'CYDIA'..

When you make a download on the store it will send an email to the email on the account. Also they can check the accounts purchase history which cannot be edited.
