problem with google chrome.?

the top of google chrome is now black, and the bar at the bottom that shows the time and date, wifi connection etc is gone. how do i get it back to normal? thanks
i dont like fire fox.
im not un installing it. and im not going to use any thing.
i fixed it i went into the settings and clicked on launch chrome in desktop

Be Radical! Remove and reinstall Google Chrome. If still you have problems, delete it and install firefox!

Have you tried restarting your computer? Perhaps, it's just a bug.

If that doesn't work, reinstalling your Chrome could just be the best option
