On Facebook, is there a rule against sharing strangers' photos?
On Facebook I am friends with this one lady in her 50's who I hardly know in real life (she's an ex-sister-in-law of my mom's cousin). She adds tons of pics to her profile each day, mostly shared off of Facebook fan pages or humor pages, like 75-100 a day on average (I'm really not exaggerating). I've noticed, however, that she often shares family photos of people she is not even friends with (don't even ask me why). She snoops through their photo albums and shares whatever she thinks is interesting. For example, she went into this one guy's album and shared his senior portraits; she also frequently shares photos of peoples' young kids, pets, houses and cars. I wouldn't really mind except now she's started doing it to my other Facebook friends; just yesterday, she shared a photo of one of my friends' young daughters onto her page for no particular reason. I am worried that this friend will be worried now that he would have been notified she did this and that he'll be uncomfortable adding more pics. I am wondering if these people could report her for doing this; if so, I'm wondering if I should message her warning her not to do it. Does FB have guidelines against sharing peoples' personal photos, or is everything on there considered public one you post it?

The onus of safety about sharing is all up to the user, they have blocks that they can put in place and can let who and who can't view their photos but if they shsre then what the party that gets them can do as they please with them, always secure the stuff that can only be seen by who you want to see, better to be safe and lock out trawlers with well what ever their hobby is Smile
