Facebook partner question?

If somebody has put themselves in a relationship with someone previously but has now changed it to single, will that person be taken off as a 'partner' in their 'family' section? Or will they remain there as long as the relationship status with them is there?

if the relationship status has been changed to single it will no longer appear that they are in a relationship with that person, and this will remove the '_______ is in a relationship with ___________' that appears on your timeline. The only place it may show now is on your profile, if you scroll down your profile until you find the status that is posted when you add someone as a partner, click the box in the right hand corner of the post and click 'hide from timeline'

If you remove your relationship status, your partner’s will change from being in a relationship with “you”, to being in a relationship. It’ll still say it but it just won’t say who they’re in a relationship with, they have to remove that, themselves.
