Is it legal to publish a video including a clip of a site you don't own?
I want to make a video that shows my customers how to use another site. It would show the viewer what's there and how to navigate it, without showing enough content to substantially take away value from their site. I'm hoping it qualifies as "fair use" excerpting. I've seen videos published by "Internet marketing gurus" that show how to use other sites, e.g. FaceBook. Or do I need to get permission first?

Yeah, you have to get permission first. Even though you're not trying to claim it as your own work, there still has to be some kind of consent from the owner. It's always a hassle to do, but I guess it's better than going to jail for stealing someone else work. Good luck!
