what is the best internet connection ie LAN, DSL. dial-up etc etc but taking into point
File download times
Bandwidth sharing etc etc
as im researching web Hostin companies and have hit a problem.

dsl beacause its the fastest dial up is slow u hook it up to phone connection

Depends on your needs...

DSL- Basic Web Surfing, Download of music, videos, etc. Nothing to complicated

Dialup- Pain in the ass

T1- Best thing ever, although you might have to pay a liitle bit more.

Cable Internet Connection- If you have comcast or dish, you can ask them about their high-speed internet offers. Some of them offer more than 5mbps.

P.S. Start off with a simple DSL Line with at least 2 mbps.
