Can people find out where a deleted answer came from?

Okay my friend told me to tell this random question just for fun.

Lets say that my friend wanted an answer. He asks for it on yahoo answers. He then copies the answer. Then he deletes the question.

So the main question my friend is asking is, Will there be anyway of tracking the original answer down? Because He knows it can be tracked on websites but will they found out if the information is deleted?

Again this isn't really important he just felt like knowing.

If you are the one who deletes your question or your answer, you can not find it again. It's not visible to usesr but gets archived and put on a DATA Server as required by Law in case it needs to be brought back up for Legal Law Enforcement reasons. Nothing is ever gone permanently. Probably doesn't answer your question.
