What's the purpose of using incognito mode when surfing the web?

Whenever you want to do any activity that you don't want someone to see in your browser history, you use incognito tab otherwise if you want to remove that activity then you have to go to history then remove whole history or select each and every tab that you wan't to delete. So instead of going with this process people like to use incognito mode.

It is type of private browsing which do not history of the websites you have visited.
