Instagram, help!?

So, I go on my instagram account.. and log in.. then it says we have sent you a new password to your email. So, I go on my email, and it says my email deactivated. UGH. I call yahoo, and they told me there's nothing they could do. It was an email, I just used for instagram. Now, I cannot go on my instagram at all! I guess I am going to have to make a new instagram account, but how do I delete my old instagram account, since I'm not going to be on it?! please help thanks! I don't want people to be following me on my old account

You don't have to delete that account because i think that account is already deleted.
