How can I change my microsoft email?

I have had my Xbox Live account for about 3 years now, and I signed up the Live to an email. Let's call the original email: 1111111@hotmail.com
However, since joining college, I have had to change my email address because "it is inappropriate for college use". It wasn't offensive nor silly, but nonetheless, I had to change it. I used 111111@hotmail.com for EVERYTHING such as Facebook, Youtube, Xbox, pretty much everything.

I created a new email account, let's call that: 2222222@hotmail.com a few months ago. I have gone through most of my accounts online and changed the contact email to it. However, for my Xbox Live profile, I can't find a way to change the email sign in to 2222222@hotmail.com as it still comes up with 11111111@hotmail.com.

I wish to change my Xbox Live sign in email from the old one to the new one.

Please advise and I hope I didn't confuse anyone.

in your Xbox 360 go to settings (all the way to the right), then Account, and then Account security and then press 'Change Microsoft account'

Just enter the new email account and password.
